Deprecated RSpec syntax

Reports use of syntax deprecated in RSpec 4.

Examples of deprecated syntax:

  • Globally exposed DSL (describe and other example group/shared context calls at the top level without the RSpec. qualifier)

  • Block arguments passed to include_examples and include_context

  • should instead of expect

  • it_should_behave_like instead of it_behaves_like
