Inspectopedia 2026.2 Help

Obsolete th:inline attribute in Thymeleaf 3

Reports th:inline attributes that are no longer needed in Thymeleaf 3.

Starting with Thymeleaf 3, inline output expressions [[…]] and [(…)] are evaluated in text content without an enclosing th:inline attribute. The attribute can be safely removed.

Example:

<p th:inline="text">Hello, [[${name}]]!</p>
<p>Hello, [[${name}]]!</p>

The inspection only reports the attribute when the project targets Thymeleaf 3.
