Two-factor authentication
Use two-factor authentication (2FA) to enhance the security of your organization in JetBrains Console. This will ensure that all users in your organization require both a regular password and a one-time 6-digit verification code when they log in with their JetBrains Account. As a consequence, even if a user compromises their password, bad actors will not be able to log in with their credentials unless they also get access to the authenticator app with the verification code.
Require 2FA in your organization
Click the organization name in the bottom left corner of JetBrains Console and select Org administration.
In the Settings section of the Administration page, click Require 2FA.
In the popup dialog that explains the consequences of enabling 2FA, click Require 2FA for Members.
Within roughly 6 hours after you enable the 2FA requirement, users in your organization will receive an email notification to set up 2FA. Users who don't set up 2FA within 7 days will be logged out of their products and prompted to set up 2FA before they can log in again. New users will be required to set up 2FA as they join your organization.
For information about setting up and using 2FA, see JetBrains Account user guide: Two-factor authentication.
