Navigate To: Metadata View

This command allows you to navigate to signatures of types and methods reconstructed from metadata of library symbols. Metadata View is shown in the editor as a partly reconstructed source file, in read-only mode. All relevant JetBrains Rider's navigation commands are available in this view.

The command becomes available when you invoke Navigate To on a library symbol in your source code and on decompiled sources. You can invoke this command from the Solution Explorer, Structure, and other tool windows.

If the target symbol has XML documentation comments, they are included in the metadata view.
