Install Applications

Space applications are distributed through two main sources: JetBrains Marketplace and direct links.

Install applications from JetBrains Marketplace

  1. On the main menu, click Extensions Extensions and choose Marketplace.

  2. Find the desired application and click Install. The application installation window will appear.

  3. In the application installation window, click Install. After this, Space will try to connect to the application server.

  4. Provide required application permissions.

    To work with particular Space modules, the application requires a set of permissions in a corresponding context: project, chat channel, document, document folder, or global context. For example, if the application creates issues, it must be granted the Create Issues permission globally or within a particular project. This permission must be granted by an organization or a project administrator.

    • If your Space user account has the required permissions, click Approve all and go to application.

    • If your Space user account doesn't have the required permissions, click Go to application. Space will send a permission request to the administrators in charge. To start using the application, you must wait for the administrators to approve the request.

    The application will be added to the Extensions | Installed to organization page.

  1. Click the application link in a browser and select your Space organization. You will be redirected to the application connection dialog in your Space instance.

  2. Provide required application permissions.

Uninstall applications

  1. On the main menu, click Extensions Extensions and choose Installed to organization.

  2. Find and open the desired application and click Uninstall.
