Inspectopedia 2026.2 Help

Obsolete '+build' line

Reports // +build lines that are no longer needed because the file already contains a matching //go:build directive.

Starting with Go 1.18, //go:build is the primary build constraint syntax. A legacy // +build line that follows a //go:build line is redundant and can be removed.

Example:

//go:build linux || darwin // +build linux darwin package plusbuild

To fix the code, use the Remove obsolete +build line quick-fix.

After the quick-fix is applied:

//go:build linux || darwin package plusbuild
