User activity report

Space paid plans billing is based on the number of active users. In order to be counted as active, a user has to perform an “intentional action” in any of the Space clients (e.g. in the web client or mobile apps). A wide variety of actions are considered intentional, including creating or editing content in Space, pushing to a Git repository, editing a profile, or reading chat messages. A user who has not performed an intentional action in any period of 14 consecutive days is considered to be an inactive user.

To find out which users in your Space organization have been active during the month, you can generate a monthly activity report. The report is created as a .csv file and starts with the first day of the current month.

To generate a user activity report

  1. On the main menu, choose administration.png Administration (expand the menu, if you don't see this item).

  2. On the Administration sidebar, choose Billing & Plans.

  3. In the top right corner of the Billing & Plans page, click the arrow next to Monthly report button and choose User activity:

    chooseUserActivity.png

The report will be automatically generated as a .csv file which you can view and download.
