Create a pull request

A task in a cloud environment commits to its own branch and pushes it to the remote repository, so the result is already on the server when the task finishes. You apply it by opening a pull request from that branch.

Create a pull request from a task

  1. Open the task and review the result.

If the task is Suspended, resume the environment first.

  2. Click Create PR.

  3. Review and complete the pull request in your VCS provider as usual.

You can also open the pushed task branch directly in your VCS provider and create the pull request there.

Pull requests from automation runs

An automation run applies its changes according to the trigger's change handling. With Create a PR, the pull request is already open when the run finishes; with Push to new branch, the run pushes a branch and leaves the pull request to you. See Create a pull request from a run.
