AI settings
Use the AI settings page to enable AI-powered features in your organization, manage AI credits, and control data collection options. Additionally, there is a separate tab with the status of AI Enterprise, which is part of the JetBrains IDE Services suite.
By default, AI is disabled for your organization. You can choose to enable it for all users at once or grant AI access manually per user.
Enable AI
Expand the AI governance section and select Settings.
If you don't see this page, your role doesn't have the necessary permissions.
On the AI settings page, below the On and Off switches, you will see how many AI credits are available in your organization. If you don't have any AI credits in your organization, there will be a button to buy them.
Click On to enable AI in your organization.
You can select to grant AI access to all users in your organization at once or manually per user.
Select the I agree to the JetBrains AI Platform Terms of Service checkbox.
You cannot save your changes until you accept the terms. If your organization has already accepted the terms, the checkbox is selected and cannot be changed. You don't need to accept the terms again.
Click Save and wait for the changes to take effect.
Change AI access settings
Expand the AI governance section and select Settings.
If you don't see this page, or the controls on this page are inactive, your role doesn't have the necessary permissions.

In the dialog, select Off.
Click Save changes and wait for the changes to take effect.
AI is disabled for everyone in your organization, including users and service accounts.
Disabling AI removes access granted to users and service accounts. When you re-enable AI and grant AI access to all users, they get access again automatically. If you choose to grant AI access manually per user, they must be granted access again. For details about how to choose the access option, see Enable AI. Service accounts are always re-granted per account.
Manage AI credits
Users and service accounts with AI access can use AI-powered features that consume AI credits.
Add AI credits
Expand the AI governance section and select Settings.
If you don't see this page, or the controls on this page are inactive, your role doesn't have the necessary permissions.
On the AI settings page, open the JetBrains Central tab to see the number of AI credits available in your organization.
Click Add AI credits to purchase AI credits for your organization.
Set the default AI credit limit
Expand the AI governance section and select Settings.
If you don't see this page, or the controls on this page are inactive, your role doesn't have the necessary permissions.
On the AI settings page, open the JetBrains Central tab to see how many AI credits each user and service account can spend per month by default.
If necessary, change the limit in the AI credits per user per month field and click Save.
You can also set the individual AI credit limit per user and service account.
Code-related data collection
JetBrains may collect code-related data from your users only if you and your users allow this. By default, AI tools and features will not share any code-related data, and your users cannot opt in. If you allow data collection, users will be able to enable data sharing in their IDEs.
Allow data collection
Enabling data collection helps JetBrains improve products and AI features. For information about our data collection policy, see Product Data Collection and Usage Notice.
Expand the AI governance section and select Settings.
In the Detailed code-related data collection section, select Let users decide.
Users in your organization will be able to decide whether to allow data collection in their IDEs.
Early Access Program (EAP)
The Early Access Program (EAP) allows you to try new features before general availability. You may notice the EAP labels in the sidebar, designating pages and functionality that are still in development but are available for preview. To enable such pages and features, opt in to EAP.
What is currently in EAP:
Keep in mind that EAP features may change before general availability and will likely become paid features. This means you will not be able to use them once they are released if your organization stays on the Basic plan.
Opt in to EAP
Expand the AI governance section and select Settings.
Under EAP, click Opt in.
In the dialog, review the features available for preview, and click Done to confirm.
The EAP features become available and marked with the EAP label. To leave the program, click Opt out under EAP.
