About the Partnership
The Python Software Foundation (PSF) is the principal organization behind the Python programming language. As a non-profit organization, the PSF depends on sponsorships and donations to support its work. The contributions are used to sustain their efforts in support of the Python language including sprints, meetups, community events, Python documentation, fiscal sponsorships, software development, and community projects. None of this is possible without your support.
The Python Software Foundation and JetBrains have partnered before, conducting three consecutive Python Developer Surveys. In addition to that, this year JetBrains PyCharm will once again support the Python Software Foundation’s Q4 2020 fundraising. Until the 31st of December, the money from every new PyCharm Professional Edition license bought with the PSF 30% discount code will go to the PSF’s general fund for 2020.

at the Python Software Foundation
“The PSF is grateful to have JetBrains as a collaborator on several projects. JetBrains has worked with us to conduct the Python Developers Surveys since 2017. We’re are excited to continue working together by raising money through this program so we can better support the Python community. Together we hope to make this a yearly event! On behalf of the community, I would like to extend our deepest thanks for their generous help.”
JetBrains PyCharm is fundraising donations for Python Software Foundation, a 501(c)(3) corporation; 100% of each sale made through this page or using the coupon code 'ISUPPORTPYTHON2020' between December, 1st, 2020 and December, 31st, 2020 will be donated to Python Software Foundation.
