If you’d like to use a JetBrains Teacher Pack for your personal projects only, we recommend using the JetBrains Teacher Pack for individuals. This option can be used to access the software both in classrooms and on personal computers. All licenses in the pack are issued directly to you, so school representatives don’t have to manage them. If you’d like to manage the licenses yourself and need them for per-machine distribution in your classrooms, we recommend that you apply for the JetBrains Teacher Pack for classrooms.
Our EULA specifies that a JetBrains Teacher Pack is intended for classroom or personal use only. If you work on internal projects for your institution, we can offer you a discount on a commercial license. Please contact our Sales team for details.

You have three options, and you can combine or switch between them at any time:
  • Our cloud (License Vault) – Distribute licenses through a cloud service, for both lab computers and students' personal devices.
  • Your own network (License Server) – Issue licenses within your local network, ideal for computer labs (students don't need to sign in).
  • Direct assignment – Assign and revoke licenses to individual students from your JetBrains Account, or share an invitation link.
See the deployment guide for step-by-step setup.
