The JetBrains Partner Program is designed for leading incubators, accelerators, VCs, and startup communities worldwide. It empowers these partners to accelerate their startups by providing them with a special offer: six months of free access to up to 10 licenses in total (IDEs, All Products Pack, team tools, or learning tools), followed by the standard 50% Startup Program Discount for the remainder of a five-year period.

After you apply, our team will review your application within 48 hours. If you meet the criteria, you will receive an acceptance email, followed by a quote for the products. If you’re not accepted, our team will get in touch and share our reasoning. An application may be unsuccessful either due to missing information (e.g., a document or website) or because you do not meet our eligibility requirements (e.g., your business is more than five years old).

No. Eligible startups are entitled to receive the Startup Program Discount only once. After you are approved, you can buy up to 10 IDE licenses, 10 team or learning tool subscriptions, 10 JetBrains AI subscriptions, and an unlimited number of different plugins, with up to 10 licenses per plugin, at any time during your five-year enrollment in the Startup Program.

No. The Startup Program is designed for eligible startups to directly receive a discount on licenses. The Partner Program is for incubators, accelerators, VCs, and startup communities that then provide benefits to their affiliated startups. If your startup is part of an organization affiliated with our Partner Program (you can check the list here), we recommend leveraging those benefits first before applying directly for the Startup Program Discount.

No. The Startup Program Discount is provided once per organization and cannot be extended to subsidiaries or other companies within the same organization. For example, if a parent organization has already received the discount, then any daughter companies of said organization would be ineligible.

The Startup Program Discount expires five years after the date of your Startup Program Discount approval confirmation or once you have met the limit for discounted purchases (10 IDE licenses, 10 team or learning tool subscriptions, and 10 JetBrains AI subscriptions). To ensure that you get the most out of your Startup Program Discount, please be careful not to exceed 10 IDE licenses, 10 team or learning tool subscriptions, and 10 JetBrains AI subscriptions in any single order.

For example, let’s say you have already bought 10 team or learning tool subscriptions and eight IDE licenses with the Startup Program Discount, and you need to buy an additional three IDE licenses for new developers. You should place an order for two IDE licenses. The Startup Program Discount will be applied to this order. Then, for the final IDE license, you should place a new order, which will be charged at the regular rate.

No. There is no need to apply for the program again if you’ve already been approved. You can buy more licenses and subscriptions from our store (up to 10 IDE licenses, 10 team or learning tool subscriptions, and 10 JetBrains AI subscriptions) and the Startup Program Discount will be applied automatically at the checkout page. You can contact us directly to request a quote.

We provide a 50% discount for YouTrack Cloud and YouTrack Server, with a limit of 250 users per subscription.
We also provide a 50% discount for TeamCity On-Premises, with a limit of 10 build agents. The Startup Program Discount will be deactivated if the number of active subscriptions exceeds 10.
Additionally, we offer a 50% discount for Qodana, Datalore, and JetBrains Academy.

No. The discount is only for startups established within the last five years, and it can only be applied to commercial licenses.

We don’t offer credit or refunds for any licenses you bought before your company became eligible for the Startup Program Discount. However, an exception may be possible if your order was placed recently. Contact us for more information.

No. You can choose how many licenses you want to start with. You can purchase further licenses later on, up to a total of 10 IDE licenses, 10 team or learning tool subscriptions, and 10 JetBrains AI subscriptions per year for up to five years.

No. Our IDE licenses are purchased on a per-user basis, and the Startup Program Discount cannot be applied to floating licenses or other subscription options. Each user within your startup will need their own license.

A variety of products are available through IDE subscriptions, including IDEs as well as .NET and Visual Studio tools. “Team tool subscription” refers to team tools, including TeamCity, YouTrack, Datalore, Qodana, and our learning tool (JetBrains Academy).

Lastly, for the purposes of this program, JetBrains AI subscriptions are limited to the AI Pro and AI Ultimate plans, which include access to Junie.

No. The Startup Program Discount cannot be combined with any other JetBrains discounts or special offers.
