Projects

A project in Space is a place to create, store, and manage work-related resources: Git repositories, documentation, checklists, issues, packages. Each Space project comes with a large number of tools to help you with various tasks: from project planning to automation and deployment.

You can:

• Search for a specific project (unless it's private).

• Find out who's contributing to the project (project members) and each member's responsibilities.

• Join an existing project or create a new one.

  Anyone in organization can create a project, add a repository to it and provide access to others, so they can contribute to the project and use its internal features.

As a project member, you can:

• Use Documents to create and store project-related text documents such as instructions, roadmaps, tutorials.

• Use Checklists to plan team work, set goals and track progress.

• Use Issue tracker to submit and track issues, bugs, and requests.

If a project contains repositories, you can:

• Clone a repository and start committing to it.

• Browse a repository directory tree.

• View and edit individual files.

• View commit history, compare revisions in a diff, explore your project state at a selected revision.

• Search for specific files and commits.

• Participate in code reviews, examine and discuss changes.

• Build, test, and deploy your project using CI/CD Automation tools.

As a project administrator, you can:

• Create, import or mirror Git repositories.

• Use Set up CI/CD Automation pipeline to build, test, and deploy your project.

• Use Add new members and manage their access to your project resources.

• Use Assign responsibilities to project members.

• Use Customize your project.
