Hub 2021.1 introduces custom attributes to user profiles, multi-domain support for Google auth module, and PKCE extension support for OAuth 2.0
In addition to user credentials, emails, and names, Administrators in Hub can now let users enrich their user profiles by adding custom attributes. These attributes can be used to store various information including the employee start date, employee ID, office location, job title, phone number, and much more.
This setting lets Hub Administrators restrict the creation of user accounts to users with an email address from a specific domain. For larger teams and expanded projects, one domain may not be enough. You can specify multiple domains, by adding additional domains to each new line.
The proof key for code exchange (PKCE) is an additional protection code that further enhances the Hub authorization flow. It was created to offer desktop and mobile client applications a more secure and robust sign-in experience and is recommended by IETF (The Internet Engineering Task Force) among other OAuth 2.0 best practices. No additional configuration is required to set up PKCE. If the client supports it, Hub will happily play along.
